FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How are these made?
Each panel is 3D printed in-house on Bambu Lab printers and then meticulously hand-finished, assembled, and tested.
What material is it made of?
PLA (polylactic acid) printed directly onto power mesh fabric, TPU used for the inside lining. Small metal hardware for durability and structure, and magnetic closure. All materials include Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
What printers do you use?
We print on Bambu Lab printers — both the P1S and the H2D. For designs requiring two colors, dual-color printing handles both filaments simultaneously. We choose the printer based on the specific design requirements of each run.
Is it durable?
Yes. PLA has excellent rigidity and the mechanical bond with power mesh creates a structure that's stronger than either material alone. The hexagonal pattern distributes force evenly — maximum strength with minimum material.
Can I customize the colors?
The Imaginarium color lab is coming soon — you'll be able to design your own colorway in real-time. Official named colorways are available in the shop; new drops will be replacing previous ones, so if you see something you like, grab it before it's gone.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the PLA shell with a damp cloth. Do not machine wash, bleach, or expose to temperatures above 140°F (60°C) — PLA softens at high heat.
Is it waterproof?
The PLA hex shell is water-resistant but the power mesh backing is breathable (not waterproof). Light rain is fine; don't submerge it.
What fits inside?
Dimensions are 9″ × 4″ × 7″. Fits a phone, wallet, keys, small cosmetics pouch, sunglasses case, and a few smaller items. It's a crossbody carry, not a tote.
Are the materials safe?
Yes. PLA is derived from renewable resources (cornstarch), is non-toxic, and is food-contact rated. All our materials come with Material Safety Data Sheets. We source only from verified suppliers with complete documentation.
