1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By placing an order through variableobjects.com (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Sale. Please read them carefully before making a purchase. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not place an order.

2. PRODUCTS

Variable Objects specializes in 3D printed fashion accessories and functional art objects. All products are manufactured using advanced additive manufacturing techniques with proprietary materials.

Product images are for illustrative purposes. Due to the nature of 3D printing and the unique properties of our materials, slight variations in color, texture, and finish may occur between products. These variations are inherent to the manufacturing process and are not considered defects.

3. PRICING AND PAYMENT

All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice. Prices do not include applicable taxes or shipping costs, which will be calculated at checkout.

Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as displayed at checkout. Your payment information is never stored on our servers.

4. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

We ship to addresses within the United States. Shipping times and costs vary based on your location and selected shipping method. Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout but are not guaranteed.

Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, or other circumstances beyond our control.

5. LIMITED WARRANTY

Warranty Coverage

Variable Objects provides a six (6) month limited warranty from the date of delivery on all products against defects in materials and manufacturing workmanship. This warranty is provided at our sole discretion.

What Is Covered

  • Defects in materials used during manufacturing
  • Manufacturing errors or workmanship defects
  • Structural failures under normal use conditions
  • Premature degradation not caused by misuse

What Is NOT Covered

  • Damage resulting from normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or accidents
  • Damage from exposure to extreme heat, direct sunlight, or hot environments (such as inside vehicles)
  • Damage caused by contact with chemicals, solvents, or harsh cleaning agents
  • Cosmetic damage including scratches, scuffs, and color fading from use
  • Damage from unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Products purchased from unauthorized resellers
  • Normal variations in color, texture, or finish inherent to 3D printing

Warranty Claims

To submit a warranty claim, contact us at relay@variableobjects.com with:

  • Your order number and date of purchase
  • Clear photographs showing the defect
  • A description of the issue

We will review your claim and, at our sole discretion, determine whether the product qualifies for warranty coverage. If approved, we may repair or replace the product, or issue a refund. The remedy will be determined by Variable Objects based on product availability and the nature of the defect.

Warranty Disclaimer

EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE, ALL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THIS LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

6. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Due to the custom, made-to-order nature of our products, we generally do not accept returns for buyer's remorse or change of mind. However, we will work with you to resolve issues with defective products under our warranty policy.

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage or error. We will arrange for a replacement or refund as appropriate.

7. PRODUCT CARE AND SAFETY

To ensure the longevity of your Variable Objects product, please observe the following guidelines:

  • Heat Sensitivity: 3D printed materials (TPU/PLA) are heat sensitive. Do not leave products in direct sunlight or in hot vehicles.
  • Cleaning: Clean with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents.
  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Adult Use Only: Our products are adult fashion accessories. Keep away from children under 14 years of age.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VARIABLE OBJECTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR PURCHASE OR USE OF OUR PRODUCTS.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR PURCHASE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All designs, patterns, algorithms, and creative works associated with Variable Objects products are our proprietary intellectual property. You may not reproduce, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from our products without express written permission.

10. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Sale shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your purchase shall be resolved in the courts of San Diego County, California.

11. CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Sale at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
